FEERIC FASHION WEEK 2025 HIGHLIGHTS VOL. II

The second day of shows at Feeric Fashion Week brought deeper dive into the bold creative spirit. Sibiu locations continued to serve as backdrops, designers unveiled collections celebrating diversity and creativity. Day two stood as a powerful reminder of Feeric’s mission: to give voice to new perspectives and turn the runway into a platform for innovation. This is the second volume.

TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY OF MOLDOVA

The group collection from the UTM presents a mature artistic vision and strong stylistic variety, exploring themes like loneliness, longing, femininity, astral archetypes, and a reinterpretation of the poem Luceafărul. The designs impress through decorative refinement and a blend of classic materials with modern innovation.

BLANKA GOTIC

The designer Blanka Gotic who represent Faculty of Textile Technology of Zagreb, presented “Obedience in Fragments”. Collection inspired by the Mormon religious community, delving into symbols such as the temple, beehive, and Eagle Gate, as well as sensitive themes like church schism and polygamy.
Materials such as poplin, transparent fabrics, and natural rope reflect the simplicity of faith, while hair extensions reference feminine identity within polygamous groups.

GALALA UNIVERSITY

“Transformation” is a group collection from Galala University Egypt by LOKA, Milosaurus Arts, Rollana, and Chimera, where explores design as a transformative force for both materials and perception. Inspired by art, emotions, and fairytales, the collection blends cotton, linen, wool, and velvet with techniques like silkscreen printing, embroidery, and dyeing to create expressive and personal fashion pieces.

UNIVERSITY DONJA GORICA

The collective show from UDG Montenegro University, powered by Arizona State was created by first and second-year students from the Fashion Design Department. A collective collection that explores the theme of “Unknown Nature” through abstract and unconventional forms.
Developed in mixed teams, the project emphasizes sustainability through recycling and denim deconstruction, alongside textile techniques like painting, abrasion, and coloring. Each piece is a unique and personal expression of nature’s complexity.

UNIVERSITY & NATIONAL ACADEMY OF ART – SOFIA

The National Academy of Art from Bulgaria presented “Symbiosis”, a cross-disciplinary project between Fashion Design students from the National Academy of Arts and Biology majors from Sofia University. Inspired by the Natural History Museum exhibits, the collection explores biodiversity and zero-waste through sustainable design. Each garment merges science and creativity, highlighting the link between environmental awareness and fashion innovation.

IOULIA LOUVARI

The designer Ioulia Louvari represents Athens Fashion Club from Greece. “Heterogeneity” is a statement of inclusion and uniqueness, inspired by physical disability and the beauty of human diversity.
Contrasting textures such as synthetic fur, bouclé, sequins, and denim are blended to craft expressive, dynamic garments. Through asymmetry and handcrafted details, the collection conveys a message of acceptance and personal strength.

CORALIA DUBOU

The designer Coralia Dubou from Universitatea din OradeaFacultatea de Arte presented “Error”. The collection explores the tension between structure and fluidity through post-human silhouettes made of faux leather and industrial textiles. Exaggerated volumes and modular details reflect a distorted, transformative identity.

OLIVIA KOBEISSI

The Lebanese designer Olivia Kobeissi, representing Notre Dame University-Louaize, presented “Prism Thinking” where explores transformation and resilience through contrast and fragility. Inspired by how prisms split light, the collection blends cracked armor, resin corsets, and contrasting fabrics to express strength born from emotion and vulnerability.

VERÈDIA

The collection “NOCTERA” from Atelier Veredia redefines power dressing by blending corporate structure with feminine elegance. Black velvet, textured suiting, and fluid organza create bold silhouettes, enhanced by sharp lapels, defined waists, and pearl embroidery. The collection embodies refined strength, where elegance commands and softness becomes strategy.

DUALITAE

“The Quiet Icon”, a reimagining of simplicity by Dualitae, centers on the timeless white shirt. Subtle yet powerful, it becomes a sculptural base for fluid silhouettes and sharp contrasts, seen across casual, office, and glam looks. Far from basic, it resists trends and affirms identity through quiet strength, expressing the core duality of the brand.
In this silence lies a kind of confidence, one that doesn’t seek to impress, but to endure.

SYNERGIA

The collection “Summer is Calling” by Raluca Elena Cinean captures the spirit of summer through light fabrics, pastel tones, and marine-inspired details. Blending comfort with elegance, the collection features natural materials, screen-printed graphics, and handmade accessories. It marks a fresh, expressive chapter for the brand, rooted in simplicity, identity, and freedom.

Feeric Fashion Week 2025 is co-financed by the City Hall of Sibiu and the Sibiu County Council, with significant support from primary partners NEPI Rockcastle and Promenada Sibiu. International collaborators included the French Institute, the French Embassy, Euronews, IED Milan, Ford, CineGold and Boromir.
