Victoria’s Secret 2018 fashion show was amazing and we can’t wait for December 2nd to watch it on TV or online. The show took place a few days ago, but it will air only in the beginning of December and we will have access to backstage footage, red carpet interviews and so many other pinkish things.
It was a magical night and also special because this was the last time when the Brazilian model, Adriana Lima walked for Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show and we could all see that she got emotional at the end of the show. She has been part of the Victoria’s Secret family since 2000 and she thanked the brand for teaching her how to fly.
This year, the show took place in New York, at Pier 94, the place where many of Chanel fashion shows were held. The Victoria’s Secret fashion show had a 2 year break from the city of lights New York and last season it went to Shanghai. In 2016, Paris was the city who enjoyed the most beautiful women on earth.
The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2018 booked the best models in the world. We could see on the catwalk: Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner, Cindy Bruna, Devon Windsor, Leomie Anderson, Shanina Shaik and German model Toni Garrn. Winnie Harlow and Duckie Thot made their Victoria’s Secret debuts. Some other new names in the Victoria’s Secret familiy are Maia Cotton, Sofie Rovenstine and Iesha Hodges. Also, Kelsey Merritt is the first Filipino woman to walk the runway at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show and she made history.
The makeup artist guru, Charlotte Tilbury was the official sponsor of the show. Her makeup line includes amazing highlighting products and she wanted to make sure that the models will look stunning on this special occasion.
Bebe Rexha, The Chainsmokers, Halsey, Kelsea Ballerini, Rita Ora, Shawn Mendes and The Struts were the performers who delighted the atmosphere with their music.
Asked about what’s new in 2018’s show, Ed Razek, the executive producer of Victoria’s Secret fashion show responded that: “The show is a year-long production, and 2018 promises to be our most ambitious yet. We have more musical guests, more fashion and more stories than ever; and, of course, 60 of the world’s top models.”
