Iceberg’s Fall 2019 collection presented at London Fashion Week is a huge pill of joy and positive energy for your spirit. The looks are colorful and rich in details. Are a mix of prints, logos and representations of Mickey Mouse.
James Long, Iceberg’s creative director is really found with the Italian getaways in the mountains and he drew his inspiration from the ski slopes of the Alps. People in Milan always go to the mountains during the weekend and they are showing off their best skiing outfits. So this collection it’s a blend between Italian style and the English soccer fashion.
“The story—because I always have a bit of a narrative— goes like this: You know how the people in Milan always go to the mountains for the weekend, that very Italian thing that they do? So you have the nine-to-five suits which transition to punky mountain and they meet the London guys there.” Said James Long according to Vogue.com
The manager jackets and soccer shirts are beloved by the designer and Iceberg’s logo is omnipresent on sleeves, trousers, headbands or on the sweaters.
If the sweaters don’t show off a logo, Mickey Mouse is the star, making a reference to Iceberg previous collections. Puffer jackets represent an important part of this collection and the strong colors will make you the light of the gray winter days.
Since Logan joined Iceberg team, his aesthetics brought an increase of 300 percent in sales. The brand also opened 40 more points of sale in the US and another 40 in China.
