The 58th edition of MODALISBOA METAPHYSICAL, in co-organization with the Municipality of Lisbon, has taken place on March 10 to 13, 2022 at Factory Lisbon, at Hub Criativo do Beato.
It represented beginning of a new phase as an in-person event with a growing digital component – it is meta and it is physical – in constant experimentation, that crosses the geographies of Fashion, Technology, Innovation and Art in a path where multidisciplinary practices meet and new possibilities of permanence are tested.
The 58th editon of Lisboa Fashion Week consisted of presentations by 26 Fashion Designers. Using new ways to disrupt and renew the method of communication on the runway. Lisboa Fashion Week calendar remains a territory rich in the diversity of concepts and proposals, bringing together Designers with different audiences that, among themselves, form the creative fabric of the Portuguese Fashion scene.
Conveying the feeling of “fun” and authenticity in fashion might seem harder with every season, especially nowadays. This was absolutely not the case in the midst of Portuguese designers, this season, who effortlessly managed to present in an unfiltered manner their aesthetic vision and point of view.
We decided to share our favorite looks from the runway of this season. Out of more than 100 looks we’ve selected 10 looks that have impressed us, either through the design, craftsmanship or the refreshing feeling that they conveyed.
