#ModicReview: Feeric Fashion Week 2022 Highlights
From the 20th to the 24th of July, Feeric Fashion Week brilliantly celebrated its majestic 14th Edition, acting as a link between Fashion Industry Personalities, International Media, Fashion Icons and Emerging Talents.
Feeric is creative development and shows an international pillar that acts as a showcase for the promises of fashion and handmade. Every year there are more creatives who are part of each edition, raising its international presence and demonstrating the good work of the right path in support of talent and the multiple visions of Global Fashion.
The mixture of incredible locations and great professionals has been the symbiosis that has given rise to a memorable edition, mainly focused on promoting craftsmanship and experimental design.
Lets review the most outstanding collections of the fashion week.

DZHUS
The Ukrainian conceptual brand opened the presentations of the week with a conceptual proposal based on the study of pattern making for the reuse of garments through their physical transformation to turn them into others. An experimental proposal with exaggerated forms and abstraction in the forms that is a declaration of intentions of the brand.
BIANCA RIPAN
The designer presented her collection with black as a path to female empowerment. It tells us about reinvention, metamorphosis, leaving behind the pain of the past and rising from our own ashes. A powerful collection where the accessories and the combination of materials such as latex, leather or tulle enhance each daring design.
BORBALA
The brand is committed to an interesting line of patchwork-type creations through leftover fabrics, reused materials, and the transformation of previously existing garments. The result is fun, sporty, casual garments and even with tribal and ethnic evocations. A look at the ethical and sustainable future of tomorrow’s fashion.
HOOLDRA
The streets of the car cutting depot hosted one of the most creative shows of the edition. Hooldra presented a new collection where the second life of garments comes to life again through the colorful, punk and unfinished pictorial customization of artist Mira Wanderlust and Jacqueline Barth’s reinvention of upcycling garments and accessories. Looks with their own personality that make the way of reinterpreting garments fun and functional, turning them into others.
BIANCA POPP
In the traditional factory of Boromir, the designer returned to reflect her essence in her personal patterns, presenting a collection inspired by the repressed emotions that grow within us and come to have the power to control us. This collection delves into color and vaporousness, giving a new vision of the Bianca Popp universe.

ATELIER LUZ
With a very pure color palette, highlighted by pinks and warms, the collection drew the female silhouette merging with it, where the straight cuts with a geometric base flowed on the Gala runway. Simplicity and elegance with sobriety, where the author’s jewelry pieces enhanced the style.
DRESSINGZ
One of the most impressive locations of this edition was the car cutting depot. The endless walls of stacked cars framed the presentation of Dressingz, the new luxury pre-loved market place. Under the leitmotif of the reinvention of looks through the exchange of second-life pieces and accessories. An important message to be aware of that brings us closer to valuing forgotten pieces from the bottom of the wardrobe.
ANDREEA PLESA
The young promise presented her collection in the streets of Sibiu, an avant-garde urban look with futuristic touches. Her palette with grays as a base and oranges to enhance her tell us about the industrial landscape that surrounds us and that points to the future, and the future relationship we will have with natural fabrics. Straight cuts and fluidity highlight this ready to wear.
RAMELLE
The well-know feeric designer presented her collection in the dreamlike setting of the Brukenthal Palace steps. The warm light of the sunset merged with the sophisticated designs in nude colors and the black and white binomial. Femininity presented as a look at infinity within the style, which always lasts and transforms.

ALEXANDRA CATRANGIU
The designer was one of the featured collections at the Feeric Venue, where her designs evoked a reinvented classicism full of sophistication. She is inspired by abstract expressionism through the dualism of black and white, where the progression of both and their symbiosis form a beginning and an end in themselves, making them imperishable.
CHANSA
The brand stepped on the Feeric Venue runway to present a collection inspired by the Glam Rock of the 70s, where black is the imperative, with highlights in cream colors such as pink and mauve. It presents a woman who becomes aware of slow fashion in her look and shows a determined personality.
CHOTRONETTE
The magic of the Feeric Gala was present during this show, aimed at the most feminine version of women, designs rescued from different fairytale scenarios, stepped on the catwalk in a majestic way. Volumes, corsetry, embroidery and applications showed the craftsmanship of design of the creations and their value in itself.
SYNERGIA BY PROMENADA
In this show we get closer to the Sibiu sky on the rooftop of Promenada at sunset, where the designer Raluca Elena Cosareanu presented a fluid and natural collection inspired by contemporaneity and highlighted by colorful accessories. Deconstructed forms with a strong visual identity during a walk through the future, which is now.
EMERGING DESIGNERS COLLECTIVE SHOW + IED FASHION IMPACT
The Feeric Venue turned on its spotlights to present the creations of different students and graduates from different international design schools. The presentation flowed between the ready to wear, the conceptual and the experimental, demonstrating that the new talents are at the point between sustainability and conscious creative design.

Likewise, the IED also brought to the streets of Sibiu the most innovative and experimental creations through the Fashion Impact presentation, also highlighting the work of the recently graduated Romanian designer Marinela Djurdj.
