Feeric Fashion Week is finally back! The 13th edition of the most creative fashion week in the world, are taking place between July 21st and 25th in Sibiu – Romania. Feeric supports each year the artisanal works of designers, with activities of scouting training and promoting international designers and brands, since 2008. After the great opening hosted by Landiana, we’re glad to presents the first shows viewed today.
FEERIC FASHION WEEK – DAY II
The fashion shows started today with a particular show in the center of Apoldu de Jos village, in a traditional Transylvanian atmosphere. APOLDIST proposes a selection of designers with a new fashion ethic, offering customers a sustainable experience that involves discounts on collectibles in exchange for old clothes, which will later be recycled and put back into use. Apoldist wants to show us the work of the selected designers and being encouraged to invest in long lasting design, dress effortlessly, make conscious choices, be material wise, wear clothes that matter, and never refuse to reuse fashion.
FEERIC FASHION WEEK – DAY II
The forest received the presentation of HOOLDRA, a responsible brand of recycled clothing Clothing items passing through the hands of artists who brought them back to life before being put up for sale again. The concept of the entire brand fits perfectly with the international message that Humane Society International wants to send: “no fur in fashion”. All the process of upcycling looks in end result of Hooldra. An universe of creativity open to all, like the creatives Jacqueline and Mira, who have contributed in the project and the final presentation.
FEERIC FASHION WEEK – DAY II
The last show of today brings the guests to the old center of Sibiu, on Cetății Street, where the catwalk that connects the Potters ‘Tower to the Carpenters’ Tower will be the presentation space of the new collection signed BENNU, a brand of luxury bags made of vegan leather, as a result of processing scraps and fruit peels. The brand appears after 30 years of experience in luxury bags production and blends traditional with innovation, design and functionality all into a sustainable direction.
