#ModicReview: Best of London Fashion Week AW2020
After NY, it’s time to return to Europe for the second official appointment of the international fashion calendar. This is none other than London Fashion Week, where the British capital hosts a new edition of the trends that we will see next season Autumn/Winter 2020-2021. London, always avant-garde, presents to the world the vision of its most acclaimed designers. Below we give to you the highlights from the catwalk:
#ModicReview: Best of London Fashion Week AW2020
Tommy Hilfiger
Without doubt the most urban style of the collections presented this week, the Season 4 of #TommyxLewis Hamilton. With the spectacular Naomi Campbell in front, the designer opted again for a youthful and casual line, where all his clothes become basic without gender for the new season. The sportswear and the classic prints of the brand alternate for the most characteristic looks of the classic brand.
Burberry
The other great classic of London fashion. His creative director, Ricardo Tisci, once again show his well know-how by providing a vision of the brand’s most classic & iconic past and reinterpreting it in a current woman. Trench coats, lurex, oversize coats and evocations at 70 marked the guidelines of the most avant-garde Burberry.
Richard Quinn
Without doubts one of the most iconic shows of the edition. Luxury, extravaganza, BDSM and the dark were present in an irreverent collection that was combined with antagonistic floral prints and baroque. Latex as a second skin, frames the voluminous and fantasy designs.
Victoria Beckham
Elegance and minimalism made brand. The sophistication of the looks stood out demonstrating that the less is more than the designer is a success. Straight cuts, subtle prints and vintage evocations stand out in a refined collection. The high boots, a must have next season.

JW Anderson
The destruction of the shapes and the maximization of the garments have been the main lines of the collection. Mega-oversize coats, glitter, wool and natural sheep fur stood out in great details where the silhouette is hidden behind the designs. Have a look for the new season the leather in looks.
Simone Rocha
It presents an experimental collection, where the volumes, the deconstruction of the garments and the superposition of them created looks with their own personality. The classic binomial of black and white was interrupted by brushstrokes of colors such as red or ultramarine blue, one of the tones of the season.
Christopher Kane
The geometry inspires this collection with retro essence, where neutral and soil tones stand out, highlighted with bright brushstrokes. A very feminine and fluid line, which makes each garment basic prét-á-porter. Very soft and accesible for all kind of woman.
Roland Mouret
Again, he presents the trend of tailor jackets and prints of paintings for the next season. Debug cuts, steamy fabrics blend into very feminine garments that give a sophisticated look a fluidity. A ready to wear so accesible with a misterious touch.
