Through the years she has gained recognition among her career, including her art work, her advocacy work, and her present-day acknowledgement as a ‘modelpreneur’ in today’s society.

1. You have been involved in many areas, such as art, fashion and entrepreneurship. Which one of these would you say influenced your life for the better?
All of these areas have influenced my life in an innovative and positive way, especially art. The freedom of creativity has given me so much joy in my life. When I started my art career in 2019, I was able to navigate my profession by creating meaningful and impactful art work for our society— I’m very grateful for that.
2. How would you define yourself in today’s cultural world?
I would define myself as a woman of her own craft, someone who prioritizes and utilizes creativity in a way that helps, advocates and supports other individuals. In addition, I would also define myself as someone who is passionate about pursuing a multi-faceted mindset and vision.
3. Body image and self-acceptance are two primordial themes close to your heart. What made you embrace these two in your life?
As a women’s advocate I have always wanted to advocate for topics women face in their everyday lives— body image and self-acceptance. Spreading awareness about these every day and personal matters brings women together on a level where they can candidly relate and embrace one another. In my opinion, we need more of authentic female unity present in our world, as connecting women through their own experiences and stories is a main mission within my work.

4. You grew up in what is known as The Third World (America). What is one special moment you can recall from your childhood there?
I grew up in Massachusetts, and I had an amazing childhood. I always grew up around animals like dogs and cats, which is the reason why I have a love for animals. One special moment I can recall from my childhood is going to the local animal shelter and rescuing my 2 childhood dogs. They were the best dogs and have a special place in my heart.
5. What is a prior item you would like to see more in the fashion industry?
Exaggerated shoulder pads from the 1980s! Personally I love a strong shoulder pad on a blazer, presents a bold look.
6. It is said success comes with a price. How expensive would you say it is, from your experience?
With any amount of success comes a price tag, but ultimately happiness overrules success. I value my own joy and happiness over success.

7. As a woman in the industry, what is one advice you’d like to share with the women who are looking forward to you as a life model?
Keep going, build your portfolio, and believe in yourself. Trying to navigate a fast-paced industry can be a challenge, especially when understanding your own identity— don’t lose yourself. Stay focused on yourself, and your own energy.
8. What inspires you through your day-to-day life?
My family and my friends inspire me every single day to keep going and stay motivated.
9. What would you tell young Nikki right now?
Trust the process and keep going, you can never underestimate yourself or the power of your imagination.
10. What are you looking forward to for the New Year ahead of us?
I am looking forward to launching new projects and new ideas! 2024 will be an exciting year of reinvention, creative development and further advocacy expansion!
