Valentino Red Color made it to Tokyo

Valentino red colour made it to Tokyo as the brad headed to Japan to present its Pre-Fall 2019 collection.

Valentino is another brand that is aiming the Asian market. To achieve that, it presented its first fashion show in Tokyo. The Valentino Pre-Fall 2019 collection is full of firsts and surprises: it’s made for both men and woman, it’s adapted to the modern world while keeping its grace and refinement, and it’s ready to wear.

Pierpalo Piccioli says that he is in love with Japan’s culture, with “wabi-sabi” concept which finds beauty in imperfection and that he wanted to offer to Valentino’s lovers an unforgettable fashion show. The models walked down the catwalk on Angèle David-Guillou’s piano music and the collection includes also puffer jackets in collaboration with Moncler.

“I love the culture of Japan. It’s so modern with a sense of tradition which is romantic, not nostalgic—it’s part of the present.” declared Pierpalo Piccioli a day before the show

“Western culture is about symmetry, perfection, static beauty, while wabi-sabi is more close to the idea of harmony, of inner grace. Time goes by and it adds, it doesn’t take away. It’s really interesting for this moment—in the past, beauty was perfection, but I really feel beauty is about diversity, that this idea of wabi-sabi is very modern in this moment.” – said Pierpaolo Piccioli in a statement according to Vogue.com
